Learned the hard way that i have claustrophobia the first time I went for an MRI 😅 Had to reschedule and my doctor gave me medication. Was perfectly fine the second time. almost took a nap

I went to have one done today and I couldn’t do it. I cried and said no. My dr gave me medication to help the anxiety but even after taking the medication, I still couldn’t do it. Now they told me to see if I can get approved to go under anesthesia 😏 and have it done.

I think as soon as you say stay as still as possible, that’s the problem. Iv blacked out on cops because of something’s that’s happened before and I come out of it covered in mace and in handcuffs and didn’t even know it till it was over. Had no clue what happened. The theory of the story is the feeling of just being pinned down might be what’s making problems for some. Iv had over 30 MRI in my life and I feel that’s the problem for me, not the being in a tight spot. Just the mental part where you can’t move due to blurry images.

I had one yesterday struggled so much they put me in a small unit I panicked so much felt so sick. so they tried me on a large unit they did 1pass after 15 minutes then I had a panick attack and started feeling very very sick
