That is a misleading claim. The US did not simply “deny visas to white South Africans.”😁 There was a special refugee program for some Afrikaners because the US government argued that this group was facing discrimination and danger in South Africa. However, not every applicant was automatically accepted — some cases were rejected or did not move forward. The claim that white South Africans generally cannot get US visas is false. US visa decisions are still based on normal requirements and individual cases. The controversy is about political disagreements over discrimination, crime, land policy, and the accusation of “genocide” not a general travel ban on white South Africans.😏
