As an archivist I do not recommend storing memories on CDs. Get an external hard drive. CDs were not meant for forever storage

You better back up those CDs ASAP because they deteriorate overtime and poof everything is gone. Spinning metal magnetic back up drives are more reliable. SSD drives also fail without warning.
