@daveanica: It’s been a while since I’ve travelled on my own… and I’d forgotten how much you can learn about yourself when it’s just you. I’m in Amsterdam for Pride and work, but I’m also reminding myself that it’s okay to enjoy my own company. To wander without a plan, say yes to new experiences, get a little lost, and see where the day takes me. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to get home to my favourite person. But there’s something really special about taking yourself on an adventure every now and then. It reminds you that you don’t have to wait for the perfect moment or the perfect company to make memories. Solo trips, a little bit of courage, and saying yes to whatever comes next. (Although if I end up cycling into a canal… let’s keep that between us. 😂) 🏳️‍🌈🤍
