My theory is in the scene where Jean has everyone under her control you see MJ shed a tear when normally they just go blank. I wonder if that was her being shown the memories of Peter and that’s why she’s crying

my theory is that everyone in the spell got their memory back, but they just kinda need their brain itched to actually remember. Like Ned did with the Handshake. But Since MJ already knew that she used to know Peter and forgot him bc of the Spell, she didn‘t really need the brain itch. That‘s why she cried while being stuck in the spell.

i think Ned remembered the hand shake because as we shown in No Way Home he opened a portal just like dottor strange, and the spell was casted with the same type of magic so he might have broken it. W CEO
