@anthony.dcls: Most people think the Stream Deck is only for streamers. I originally thought the same, but I now use it as a shortcut panel for the things I repeatedly do throughout my workday. 💼 Work mode One button opens my apps and arranges them across my ultrawide monitor. 🎧 Audio switching I created different modes for my speakers, AirPods, meetings, and MacBook audio. 💡 Lighting scenes I can switch between my work lighting, gaming lighting, or turn everything off without opening separate apps. ❄️ AC controls I can turn my AC on or off directly from the Stream Deck—no need to reach for the remote. 💾 SSD eject I use an AppleScript that safely ejects my external drives before I unplug them. 🖥️ Monitor controls I can adjust the brightness of my external monitor directly from the Stream Deck. 💻 Mac shortcuts I also use it for sleep, restart, emptying the Trash, and other everyday actions. 🎨 Custom icons I use custom icons and grouped similar shortcuts into folders so the main screen stays clean. 📝 Saved text and prompts The built-in Text action pastes messages and templates that I regularly use, including design approvals, repeated replies, and AI prompt starters. The best part isn’t having more buttons. It’s removing the small repetitive steps I do every day.
