I genuinely believe the normalization of abortion has played a role in this mindset. I’ve noticed that in cases like these, many people are quick to defend or victimize the mother while showing little empathy for the child. The same way they speak about babies in the womb. Yet many of those same people also want everyone connected to the Epstein case held accountable for crimes against children. What I don’t understand is the inconsistency. Do we care about all children, or only some? If protecting children is the principle, shouldn’t that principle be applied consistently?
