That’s hearsay. Cops can’t pull anyone over because someone randomly says someone else did something. The officer has to witness any traffic infractions and misdemeanors to make a law enforcement action.

I had a cop tell me they had a witness telling them I was going 75 phone in my SUV in their neighborhood. I started laughing because the neighborhood is a dead end cul-de-sac, we had used it to turn around because we were looking for a turnoff to the river
