Very, very, very well said and I say that because it is so absolutely true. I am in my 50s and have finally found the person that is truly me so thank you for posting this because it is so deep and means so much. I’ve forgot to say that I love pretty much all of your videos, the sarcasm, the realness, and the truly thoughtful videos don’t ever let anybody bring you down.

Dang, that was powerful, Sherri… I felt it deep down to my core!! 😭 After a 26 year marriage that ended in a worst way. In a way that we all block out of our minds bc we can’t stand the thought of it, in a way that starting over isn’t just learning to survive on your own again, but also in building your confidence again bc… just what does she have exactly that I didn’t?? The overthinking and wondering WTH I did wrong. (Even though I know damn well I didn’t do anything wrong, HE DID!! I was a darn good wife. The starting over with it being (literally) JUST ME!! Kids are grown, he’s with the one that disrespected his wife, right along with him. This time around though it’s harder to get on my feet, so much has changed since the last time I was single. It’s the first time since the age of 18 that it’s just me. Just me struggling in a world of a plethora of health issues and just praying my way through it all… sucks getting older.

Agree. If nothing else, I have learned to appreciate and LOVE my best friend of over 25 years, even more than I did just a few years ago. Her family is mine and my family is hers. At this stage in my life, this is ALL that matters.
