Ive been told that AI has automated the low tier jobs of accounting. But AI isnt smart enough for a while to replace Accounting. Yes, it can do the math and simple tasks. Bur right now it has the intelligence of a 7 year old human with no concept of ethical choices. I personally think that Accounting is going to still be around because it is also: the language of business. And every business needs an accountant. It could also become something like a Data Scientist where they’re using AI to help with financial projections and whatnot. I’m not the most educated but Ive spoken to enough people in the field.
