yeah the scene we ended up getting was kinda sad, but at the same time this would've had 10 times more of an effect on me. I would've actually cried. what we got in the movie was too quick to really process and not brutal enough to care bc we know they lived to adults. but seeing this, the characters we love being brutslly hurt- oof. we much as I don't wanna see that, i also think it would've been better and more impactful
