We had two dogs, when one of them died (Todd) our other dog (Reese) had never been alone, since he was a puppy either one of us or Todd was with him. For weeks he would move our shoes and Todd’s leash from the entryway and bring them to the couch so he could cuddle with them while he was alone.

My husband and I put one of our wedding photos in front of our dogs food bowl because she would never eat without both of us watching her, but my husband and I work opposite shifts, so this was our solution! She eats now!
