🤣 I've had a cane spider the size of your entire hand thrown into my lap while I was driving (passenger saw it, freaked out and smacked it into my lap..this was in hawaii, they get massive) we also have camel spiders here in oklahoma..so I am terrified of spiders..however, I had an orb weaver spider who lived in my flowers for several years until she died, and I have in fact held her in my hands. they're scary looking, but extremely docile and such good things to have in the garden! give your wife a little grace..orb weavers are one of the very good ones

Oddly enough that Orb Spider must think y’all need their protection. They Are Huge - but truly beneficial . However - if that Spider had landed on my face - in any kind of way - well … I may of just left the earth entirely 🫢👀😅
