I worry more about these subdivision destroying the environment. They have knocked most of the trees from Aiken to Augusta building subdivisions ,It is crazy compared to Housing development Data Centers cant hold a candle !

a large portion of the data centers are due to flock/axon camera scaling. the amount of storage required for nonstop recordings to be archived for years is astounding. storage coupled with their ai search is beyond nuts. we have nothing on them

Data centers are sadly a crucial part of society and we need them for security purposes but they need to be American owned and operated and they need to be smaller scaled buildings folks have no idea how important they really are

What I find ironic is that the same people who complain about data centers sure ain’t about all the people moving down here and any piece of woodland we still got standing up in the area gets cut down and plowed over to put in side by side housing developments.
