@appalachianmountainclub: In 1876, the Jackson Covered Bridge was built, and the Appalachian Mountain Club was founded. One became a beloved landmark in the #WhiteMountains. The other became a community devoted to enjoying, understanding, and caring for the #outdoors. 💚 We returned to Pinkham Notch and the Honeymoon Bridge to recreate footage filmed in 1959 with the same mountains, the same river, and the same wooden arches, 67 years apart. Today, the AMC 150 Relay passes through Pinkham Notch on its way from Virginia to Maine. 150 years of showing up for these places. Here’s to 150 more! #nostalgia #History #Newhampshire #Hiking

@Appalachian Mountain Club Hey I just thought someone should let y'all know there's currently legislation being introduced to remove public lands protection in about 1/4th of the WMNF and most of Franconia Notch. If you like I can DM you some info, it might be good to spread awareness on it on your page
