@odaramentalhealthbylynda: There’s often an unspoken tension between Africans born on the continent and British-born Africans. Some assume a British accent protects you from discrimination, but the reality is far more complex. In healthcare, many of us still face bias, stereotypes, and the pressure to stay silent. I also explore how generational differences matter—many older generations were taught survival, while younger generations are more likely to seek empowerment, challenge unfairness, and set boundaries. This isn’t about blaming either side. It’s about understanding where these perspectives come from and having honest conversations that bring us together. Have you noticed this divide in your workplace? 👇🏾 #AfricanDiaspora #BlackProfessionals #realtalk
I do agree with everything you said except I don’t think someone like Kemi Badenoch will be leading the Conservative Party if she sounded Nigerian. All the people from minority ethnic groups at the top in British politics that I know off sound British. Maybe I’m ignorant on this subject but I would like to know if there is any person like that.
