@sheydavadipour: The longer you’re stuck in the acne world, the easier it is to accept these things as “just part of healing”😅😅 But they don’t have to be!! The internet makes it seem like everyone has the secret, so you end up trying everything...except slowing down long enough to ask WHY YOUR skin is breaking out in the first place. At one point, I genuinely thought it was normal to: • Be scared of eating pasta. • Think one cookie would ruin weeks of progress. • Feel guilty after every meal. • Spend hundreds of dollars on supplements I didn’t even know I needed. • Believe “normal” blood work meant I had no answers. • Accept that my only options were antibiotics, BC, or Accutane. • Plan my life around my breakouts and cancel doing things I love The scary part? So many of us don’t even question it because that’s the messaging we’ve been surrounded by for years😅😅 Acne convinces you that your body is “broken.” Social media convinces you that everyone else has the answer. Before you know it, you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and second-guessing every single thing you eat or do. I’ve lived that life, and I work with people living it every single day. Again, the goal is to take the time to build a body that’s resilient enough that your skin doesn’t dictate every decision you make!! Healing isn’t about chasing every trend or living in fear of food..it’s about understanding your body, building strong foundations, and making decisions based on your case and results! If you’re ready for a more regulated, root-cause-driven approach…you’re in the right place. Your acne has a reason. Let’s find yours. 🌀🌀🌀 #acne #hormonalacne #acnetips #acneproblems #acnesolution

Look at the physiology of acne and a pimple. Excess sebum + follicular hyperkeratinization harbour an environment for bacterial growth, then your body respond with inflammation causing your pimple. So you need to destroy the environment for which bacteria has a chance to grow. It’s not actually that complicated.

Your skin is a direct correlation to the way your body is able to absorb and process nutrients in your gut. (Short answer I’d opt for a digestive enzyme or prebiotics and probiotics). Long answer: It’s not so much a removal of things, (unless if you see dramatic results from removing something inflammatory like the things you mentioned) as it is the whole process of digestion working optimally. Essentially there is bacteria we constantly interact with in our environment, and if we don’t get the proper nutrients our skin needs (even if we’re eating them!) absorbed through our gut, then our skin is the last organ to receive those things. It works as a system, not really a take in one thing or take out one things. Those poorly absorbed nutrients gets sent to higher priority organs. Therefore our skin has a lesser chance at fighting bacteria, and then we also go through a cyclical battle of hormones as women which increases oil production creating a harder environment for the bacteria to clear off our skin and linger. And often times our hormones are strongly influenced by our gut microbiome as well. These things all kind of go hand and hand unfortunately, which is why you may not see results due to these things being a bandaid fix for a much larger, systematic problem occuring.

Unfortunately, the reasons for my acne were high cortisol from long term stress and gut health. I thought my acne problems were untreatable but I used to have clear skin, so I realised that the main problem was stress.

When the lymphatic system is out of wack and the inside don’t have anywhere to throw the toxins, it comes out the skin. Try lymphatic drainage every morning or massage 🙏🏽♥️and lots of fruit and veggies to help the digestion - tumeric and ginger before or after meals! 🌹
