Honestly, Nolan is the best TO. He always listens to his rookies, tries to improve himself constantly, taking other people's feedback... He's gentle but firm when he has to.

Every time the rookie actually addresses racial and misogynistic issues it’s so good. I don’t know why Jackson had to fight in the earlier seasons to get representation about the fact that he was a black cop.

I think Celina needed Nolan as her T.O because he was able to be harsh when needed but most of the time was nice. And for Nolan having Celina has his first Rookie helped him work out some kinks in his Training because he make sure Celina knew she can talk to him

This wasn’t Nolan’s fault. As Celina being his rookie, he’d been training and protecting her for so long that he forgot when to stop and let her do it herself. And besides she was his first rookie so it was his first time being a T.O he’d obviously going to make mistakes and he realized his mistake and acknowledged it. Mind you this is his first time it’s not like he’s been doing this Training officer thing. Not hating just saying this wasn’t Nolan’s fault 🫶
