This also ties in very well with his comics and I hope I can explain it well! In his comics (similar to the movie in a way) Miguel is upper class and until he becomes Spider-Man he isn't actually aware (or doesn't really acknowledge) of the city underground/the poor people of the city who literally live at the bottom. Only after he becomes Spider-Man does start to realize how bad it is and finds a new appreciation for the people there and new motivation to be Spider-Man. And coming back to your Video maybe that's what will happen? Right now he lives literally high up and ignores what's happening down below (like you said he isn't as polished as he wants to look) so maybe in the next movie we will have the equivalent of learning to appreciate the underground aka learning to accept flaws? Aka learning to accept Miles? Himself? The anomalies?

I think his sketch lines also have something to do with it.Cause they arent supposed to be on the final drawing,and Miguel works with precision,so if we were to be precise while drawing him they shouldnt be there.I also think this might back up the theory that Miguel is the anomaly.The fact that he still has his sketch lines while everybody else doesnt

This can actually link to his comic counterpart as well when it comes to downtown (the undercity). Everything above downtown is polished and precise and a beacon of supposed perfection. But below downtown all the remains of what the upper level left behind continues to linger and be ignored. Hiding the unpleasantness with a mask of polished perfection.

It makes even more sense when in Miguel’s design you can still see sketch lines bcuz his character is not fully done developing and he still has much to learn and it seems like the people from underground are that to a higher level it’s really interesting

we can see the same with miggy's hair i think as the movie goes on its more and more messy at first it's only the back that isnt well put with the front slick back but after miles escape the front is also undone/messy strands are escaping the front he is loosing the grip of control he had over his well put image
