If married via Nikkah in Pakistan or another Muslim country - then this does not apply, your marriage is fully legally recognised in the UK - Why don’t you state this in your video??

Tbh I think a reason why many people don’t marry legally is because while alive it comes with many benefits to the system. Like single person council tax ect. Cuts costs. I guess it all depends on where you are in life and what you lose if your not registered.

Thats why its more important to write a Will and LPA over having a civil marriage. I would advise most people marrying to do a nikah & civil unless the female is the breadwinner and has significant assets before marriage. In that scenario, women need to carefully consider a civil marriage.

I didn’t get anything even after two kids because he was from back home useless and didn’t have a penny to his name. All my stupid families fault fast forward remarried myself and his much wealthy man but I am not expecting anything from him I’m not even bothered just enjoy today and what he gives not looking for inheritance that was lost in the beginning.

On top of what he said, even if you have a will and your marriage is not registered in the UK court I will makes no difference because that can also be cancelled or changed without your knowledge. So the most important thing to do is have your marriage registered in the UK because Nikka means nothing in the UK court
