You would LOVE “fragments”. It’s a collection of Marilyn Monroe’s notes, diary entries, and poetry. She wrote a lot on Hotel Stationary and they photocopy it in the book.

Critical thought now :
My mama was a flight attendant in the sixties & seventies. She flew international for 11 years. Then, she continued to travel with my father. Her thing was collecting hotel keys. Sometimes taken with permission, often just absconded with. She’s in her late seventies now and still has her key collection (and a vivid story to go along with each of them)! An absolute treasure!

I work at a literal stationery store and can attest, writing on paper is better than any alternative. Gonna go ask local hotels for their stationery now as well.

I worked for a hotel workers union so i used to get a LOT of hotel stationary from meetings and stuff like that. Didn’t know people collected them

I take everything I can from every hotel I’ve stayed at. My fave right now…the peninsula Istanbul. I have mini sticky notes from that stay 🥵

I have a bunch of letters from the ppl who owned our house before us, all on hotel stationery. He was the costume designer at the Ed Sullivan show, so you can imagine all the celebs who wrote to him.
