In the Clinton Trump election the catholic church I attended actually handed out pamphlets outlining their political beliefs, but ofc all of Clinton's points were warped and even criticized as being "against our beliefs as a church." 💀 in the same diocese a few years later, they were giving sermons about why you shouldn't vote to protect abortion access. They also acknowledged "our current financial conditions " and "offered their accountant's services " to help parishioners find what expenses they can cut in order to tithe the "morally correct amount" 😭 I wish I was making this up.

Most of the churches I attended as a children and as an adult went did preach that. The problem is they believe that the “fake Christians” are those who support literally anything outside of conservative political ideas.
