It somewhat ruins the effect of shouting "These AIs are scary and dangerous and world-ending" when you're the one building them. Like, if you're so scared, turn it off? no one's forcing you to do this. In fact, we'd all rather you didnt.

Instead of being asked how AI is increasing our productivity- we are being asked how it is wasting time rather than saving time. So the narrative is definitely shifting from my perch. No matter what they choose, I’ll be building deterministic systems with inputs to AI where/IF needed and immediately get those AI outputs back into a deterministic workflow. I will not be derailed while they manipulate the market. We got things to get done!
