Personally, you shouldn’t pick between them, but if it came down to it, you should pick your partner in my preference because that’s the person you’re trying to spend your life with, build a future with. You’re not trying to do all of that with your mother. I’m not saying don’t love your mother, but you shouldn’t pick her over your partner. In fact, you shouldn’t pick at all if you don’t have to.
