@markmarshalllsh: Replying to @orson day 4 of being a fish dad and my worst fears have come true

BirdNerd61 :

I've heard if you put a heron statue in the pond, it will keep herons away as they won't invade another birds territory.

Lilly's are poisonous to dogs in case you're not aware x

RSharp :

need to put the baby's in a separate pond bc the big fish will eat them

user2456568544032 :

a heron emptied half my pond 2 years ago, about 15 fish. heartbreaking stuff. what you have will not keep them away, the fuckers plant themselves and watch for hours. you need something over the top, netting, grates any physical barrier to stop them reaching the fish.

user3071759811743 :

when you added the water, did you have to add any water treatment with it being tap water? our pond has really suffered in the heat & our water level has dropped 🥺

swfc676 :

It’s a very good pond but I’d take out the baby fish so the bigger fish don’t eat them

.....and then I discovered....a shotgun 😂

Teddy :

Mark do u by any chance have YouTube of building the pond

Louise :

The most unreal garden😍🔥

Keith E :

That’s why I have a large deep pond, the heron never come but they are present in the field 150 meters away. The heron can’t swim so mine are safe.

B :

would a statue of a hawk keep them away?

Curvaliciouskate :

Since my dads passing he had 36 koi and now he has 3 due to heron because the netting over the pond had broken due to weather. Mum is heartbroken as dad’s pond was his life before he became ill. She now never goes into the garden I would absolutely live and I manifested it daily that you would do her a back garden/pond makeover. It breaks me seeing all dads years of his pride and joy become rack and ruin please can you help 🐠🐟🙏🏻🪴⛲️

Robert Carter3265 :

plants in ponds dont last if you have koi . you need to net the pond

itsjacktries :

Love this buddy! Really liked the aqua scape bowls you had but the garden is the best thing I’ve ever seen! 🔥🔥

Suzanneinfrance :
