My mom went on them last August even though she was maybe 15 lbs “overweight” and has been in psychosis for the last 9 months, can’t live alone. Obv underlying mental health was a factor but also losing half her body weight and being generally disincentivized from eating for fuel is going to make a major difference. It’s so fucked.

Yes as someone who needs it, they were pushing commercials advertising it as an option as I was having to call every pharmacy to get my first script filled! If they already had not enough resources to fill the scripts they had, why were they trying so hard to push it to EVERYONE?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m on a GLP-1. I’ve actually gotten anxiety from my sugar dropping from taking Lexapro and it helped me during that time. I won’t lie though, I take it for vanity reasons as well. Dealt with image issues since I was a teen like most girls.
