I just received two of my more expensive wigs today from Chiquel, the Jon Renau Zara and the René of Paris Glam Wavez. Together they were over $500, and honestly I’m so disappointed. The wigs I’ve bought from AISOM (my Daisy), Wigs.com, and JB Extensions all look much more realistic to me. With these two, I can see the little dark knots/construction at the top, and they just look so wiggy. The bangs don’t seem to fall naturally, and I can’t seem to get them styled in a way that looks like real hair. If I had known they were going to look like this on me, I never would have spent that kind of money. Right now they honestly don’t look any more realistic than some inexpensive SHEIN wigs I’ve tried and returned. I’m wondering if the problem is me, not the wigs. Is there a learning curve with Jon Renau and René of Paris? Do they need to be styled or adjusted in a certain way before they look natural? I’d really appreciate any tips because I’d love to make them work if I’m just doing something wrong.
