If your town is as hot & humid as mine, I wouldn't want to get out of my mail truck and deliver packages either. Which is just one of the reasons I've never applied for a job delivering packages. And it sounds like your mailman should be rethinking his career choice. 😁

Fedex driver didn't knock, just walked up with a slip saying sorry we missed you. We were home. Hubby walked out to the truck when we knew it needed a signature. Driver looked at him, and drove away. Took 3 days to get it.

I worked for USPS you can call the local post office and request to talk to the manager on duty and report thru driver directly to them.

As a mail carrier, he is just being lazy. There is no reason for him not to go up to your door and deliver the package. He's giving us a bad name unfortunately.

I got the same message for one of my deliveries, even though I have deliveries all the time and there was never a problem.Basically , the delivery driver just wants to stop delivering for the day.

We had a mail lady, who just stopped delivering our mail entirely. When my husband called the post office to ask why, she stated “The dogs would not allow ma access to the mailbox.” Mind you, our mail person (any of them) have never met our dogs. When the postmaster asked she could not tell the color or size of the dogs. She had never seen them. So she was ultimately fired for negligence. 🤷♀️(I will say, she could hear the dogs through the wall. But of course they are gonna bark.)

I've just reported our deliverer this week because he's driving into lawns, running over flowers and hitting mailboxes. I'm not sure what's going on, but it's crazy.

My mailman refused to deliver a package because of the dog in the yard. It was a ceramic dog I had put under a tree. Had been there for years, he just noticed it.

I had same issue with Amazon, I paid for over night delivery for 4-8am as I needed it for my 10am event, I wake up that morning to a message from Amazon saying “we attempted to delivery your package but was unsuccessfull” I checked the camera and not even a car passed by so I got mad and messaged Amazon and told them no delivery attempt even made 🤬
