Love these strategies!! I'm so tired of parents not realizing that they are expecting more from their children than they are themselves. Imagine if you are doing something you are super intent on and you have plans and you are going to finish it by this time and your house comes in and says "Hey, it's time to go outside and weed!" You aren't going to drop your task and immediately follow, you would feel upset, you are in the middle of something. Children are just tiny humans that need help navigating the world and are deserving of respect and dignity from birth! Whew, ok rant over 🤣
