We’ll usually get the bucket and cup for our kid when we see movies with her since she’ll use them at home. The buckets are good for storing little things if she doesn’t want to use it for snacks

Did I buy the MoTU castle for my husband because it’s his childhood? Yes. Was it also so our kids can play with their Little People in the castle? Also yes. We also have the Ghostbusters ghost trap because it was a cheaper version of the toy 😂

i wish people would use the ebay sold listings rather than the price of a unsold listing. it doesnt change much about this story as there are some horse buckets sold for over $100 but most are in the $70 range

I just got home from Spider-Man and the fact that you have to pay for the bucket and then also the popcorn is so stupid. Don’t get me started on how useless the reward points are now too.

As someone who works at a movie theatre, it has somewhat bothered me that it is encouraged to upsell what is ultimately just a dollar store plastic container for 30 bucks. It has become almost required to ask if they want the bucket if they go to said movie

Oh my God, this happened to me, when I went to see Shania Twain! I got a vodka soda and she didn’t ask me the option. She told me I was getting a carminative cup. Give her my credit card and I was charged $75. She said that I said OK it was a whole mess. Never again.

When I went to my local AMC last week to see The Odyssey a box of Rasinets and a bottle of water was $15. That and the ticket made it a $35 for a matinee. Reminded me why I rarely go to the movies.
