Her nickname in the skating community at the time used to be “Rachael FAT”. All this body shaming about her was so toxic! Thanks gosh, she had a good support system and that she is a way more intelligent than average !🥰

I heard so many judgmental comments about her from people around me . When I think about the effect skating had on my body image, she’s the first example that comes to mind. Hearing people say negative things about her when she was as successful as she was really effed up my own body image!! It’s so absurd to look back on, absolutely insane. She always looked great.
