She called the cops 52 times in the span of two weeks. She was prescribed 13 medications in just four months. She also told her husband she wasn't ok and that she felt like she was going to hurt herself and her kids. I'm not saying what she did was ok, but that was clearly a cry for help. they failed her.

Let’s be real if a man had done this and TOLD his wife several times he was having thoughts of harming the kids and she still left them in his supervision alone, she would be vilified - “how could a mother leave her children in danger?” What she’s done is abhorrent and she needs to be in a secure facility for the rest of her life, but as the person who should have been Lindsay and the kids’ primary caregiver from the first instance when she expressed intrusive thoughts, he should be charged with neglect.

For people not understanding, we are not justifying what she did. We are advocating for better mental healthcare and care in general for women with postpartum depressuon and psychosis. She was begging for help and asked to be admitted to a facility many times. Something needs to change
