STOP DRINKING CLASE AZUL TEQUILA! If you want a pretty bottle AND great tequila, try these other brands instead! 1. @tequilavolcanofficial Tahona Blanco. Coming out of NOM 1523, they use traditional methods like brick ovens and a Tahona for crushing. The bottle is stunning and the tequila inside is delicious, tons of natual agave sweetness, nice earthy minerality, clean citrus, and a touch of mint. 2. @Tequila Ocho Reposado. Made at NOM 1474, it's one of my go to Reposados! Tons of sweet cooked agave, a touch of oak, light tropical fruits, a hint of caramel and orange zest. 3. Partida Roble Fino Reposado is another delicious tequila in a great looking bottle. Made at NOM 1502, it's aged for at least 6 months in ex bourbon barrels and then an additional two months in used single malt sherry casks. You get a really nice agave sweetness, dried fruits, dark cherries, oak, vanilla bean, and a hint of mint. Really delicious. 4. Don Fulano Reposado is another great option, coming out of NOM 1146, aged from 8-11 months in French limousine oak, it's rich and buttery. Sweet agave, dried prune and herbs, light citrus, oak, and a touch of lactic funk. 5. @AsomBroso Tequila Eros Reposado, coming out of NOM 1424, this is probably one of the most eye catching bottles | have. It has notes of sweet cooked agave, caramel, citrus oils, oak, and a tabacco like dry finish.
