@outside_with_dom: Thank you for having me Glasgow but I can’t stay and that’s a good thing! I live in my van in Scotland to save money on rent and bills. I just lost the job I started in Glasgow and I was gutted but at the same time I acknowledged it wasn’t the place for me currently. I’m ready to buy a house and am trying different areas of the country. When I was offered a job in Glasgow I remember the days when I used to live nearby and loved Glasgow so thought I’d best try it again to see if I should buy a home there. It still felt like Glasgow as I remember it but something had changed, maybe it’s because the people I used to know here have moved on. But I think part of it was the serious change in atmosphere that perpetuates the city these days. People don’t often publicly acknowledge it, but we all felt it, it was tangible and real. I’m only highlighting this to draw attention to what various politicians of all persuasions, locally, nationally and at Westminster, have done to this great city and its residents. Glasgow genuinely deserves better and I want to see this incredible city thrive again, and it will. This is an honest van life page and I will be covering in a future video my honest advice on visiting Glasgow. It’s still a great town, you just have to know where to look 😊 On a lighter note I moved to the Scottish Highlands and therefore my panic of being out of work was quickly put to bed. The contrast between city centre living to being in the open space by the seafront of a Scottish highlands village made it clear to me that the countryside is where I want to buy my future home. #vanlife #vanlifeuk #Scotland #glasgow #vanliving

When I was a teenager I loved going into town with my friends, we felt safe, nothing bad happened. My 13 year old girl asked me to go with her friends - not a chance! I don’t even go in any more

We moved from Glasgow to Stonehaven for a year…15 years ago 😂 absolutely recommend Aberdeenshire next to the sea, it’s a bit colder than the west/central Scotland but not nearly as much rain. It’s so beautiful and the beaches are amazing ☺️

I live right beside the building you were working on, and i recognise the carpark and signs. i would agree the city centre is just mad, im a student who’s from dundee and its just not nice. mostly at night time. please share you experiences! i also do feel bad for tourists
