![We Are On Our Knees Sincerely... why? Why are we begging this hard and still going unheard? We left our jobs for these horses. We gave up paychecks, weekends, sleep. Because when we saw that white mare dumped on the road, starving, nobody else stopped. When the old gelding’s legs gave out, nobody else showed up. So we did. But we can’t do it alone. And right now, we are failing them. This whole month, donations have barely come in. People send $50 for the week and think it helps. It does — for one day. One bag of feed. One round of meds. But there are 12 mouths here. 12 bodies that need grain, hay, hoof trims, antibiotics, bandages. The vet bill alone this month is $. The feed bill is $. We are down to counting coins. We have nowhere else to turn. No grants. No rich backer. No government check. Just you. We are on our knees tonight asking: Why aren’t you helping? If you’ve seen them, if you’ve followed their rescue, if you’ve said “thank you for saving them”... where are you now when the saving gets hard? We didn’t walk away from them.
