Prep time argument doesn’t work if Batman regularly loses to his rogue gallery, a group of villains he would know the most about and have the best chance of being prepared for any fight against them.

I am sorry, but Batman's preparation is his superpower. His whole life, all his gadgets, his contingency plans, all his training.... all of that is just preparation for various things that can go wrong or entities he know he might need to fight. If you take away his "preptime" than he isn't Batman anymore, he is just a guy in a Batman costume. You'd never say "Superman only wins because of his Kryptonian cells, charged by the yellow sun." Don't take away Batman's superpower when you debate.

The “Batman with prep time” argument has never made much sense to me. If Batman is truly capable of defeating virtually anyone with enough preparation, why does Gotham remain the most corrupt and crime-ridden city in the DC Universe? Is he intentionally allowing its supervillains to continue operating? Furthermore, when Batman is portrayed as defeating other superheroes through preparation, it’s worth considering that those heroes are generally moral and restrained. They may not be willing to use their full power or lethal force against Batman, giving him an advantage that he would not necessarily have against an opponent fighting without moral limits.
