Le Magal est une fête culturelle pour la commauté mouride. En aucun cas, il ne peut être être associé à la religions islamique.

I think one of the biggest misunderstandings about autistic people is that people often think we need something huge to feel better or safer around them. Like some big special treatment or completely different way of interacting. But honestly... sometimes it's the smallest things that make the biggest difference. Things that might seem completely insignificant to someone else can change the entire experience for us. Like telling us who is coming before we arrive somewhere. "Oh by the way, Sarah is coming too." A completely normal sentence for most people, but for some autistic people it means our brain gets a few extra minutes to update the entire plan instead of receiving a surprise update in the middle of the situation 😂 Or telling us when plans change instead of just expecting us to magically adapt because "it's not a big deal". It might not be a big deal to you, but our brain has probably already prepared for the original plan, imagined how it will go and created a little mental map of what to expect. Changing it suddenly is like someone changing the entire script halfway through a movie and expecting you to immediately know your lines. Also... please warn us before touching us. Seriously. A simple "can I hug you?" or "I'm just going to tap your shoulder" can make such a huge difference. It doesn't mean we don't like you. It doesn't mean we don't want affection. It just means our brain likes a little warning before unexpected physical contact happens. And maybe one of the biggest ones: give us a way out. Tell us it's okay to leave early. Tell us we don't have to stay until the end. Because ironically, knowing we can leave often makes it much easier to stay. I think a lot of autistic people spend years trying to explain why certain situations feel harder than they "should" and a lot of non-autistic people spend years not realising how many invisible things we are processing. The goal isn't for everyone to completely change how they act around autistic people. It's just about understanding that sometimes a tiny bit of predictability, communication and patience can make someone feel so much safer. And honestly... if one sentence can prevent my brain from opening 47 emergency tabs at once, I think it's worth saying 😂 What is one small thing that makes you feel instantly more comfortable around someone? 🤍 #neurodivergent #autistiktok #overthink #autism #teen
