When your spiritual eyes are opened, you'll understand why some of us are deeply concerned about certain trends, including some prom activities. Not everything presented as "creativity" or "fun" is spiritually harmless. As parents, we should be mindful of what our children participate in and not follow every trend without discernment. I know not every parent will agree, and not every child will take part, but from my perspective, some of these activities have spiritual implications that shouldn't be ignored. This is my conviction, and I believe parents should prayerfully discern what they expose their children to.
