My parents raised us with the Ferber Method. All three of us have deformed skulls (super flat in the back) from being left to cry for HOURS on end. Suffice to say, won’t be taking advice from them

My mom gave my brother cold sores (he is 28 and still gets them and will get them till he dies) from kissing her own baby. I told her she is not kissing my baby ever. She said “I will do what I want, it’s my grand baby” I will actually start throwing fists and calling police.

"it's just a little kiss" can mean possible death of your infant because they're immune system isn't strong enough. grandma's and pa's and other extended family need to understand this.

family members did this when wife wasn't around thinking I was the incompetent parent like the men in their family. They didn't know I'm actually the confrontational parent. They watch our kids through FaceTime now.
