It looks SO good! 🤩🥹 backstory ::: in case you guys don’t know the backstory behind why this haircut meant so much to Kay… She’s had long hair for almost a decade. She was so proud of her hair when she first got it to her goal length and she loved it long! Over the last year and a half, I’ve watched lupus take a lot from her. She’s been so sick, and one of the hardest things has been watching her lose so much of her hair. 🥺 Because of the Lupus, her hair hasn’t naturally been long in a long time. She’s been holding onto the length and fullness she used to have with extensions because she wasn’t ready to let go. But recently she told me she realized she was spending so much energy trying to hold onto the old version of herself instead of embracing the amazing woman she is today. So she made the decision to cut it. One thing I love that she said is that she never wants our daughters to grow up believing their beauty or their worth is tied to their hair or the way they look. Maybe one day her lupus will go into remission and she’ll have long hair again. If you ask me… I’ve never seen her more beautiful. 🥹🩷 #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships
