In my opinion, Chloe had no reason to become mean. And even less so for the reasons she gives. Let me explain: as we know from the 4th movie, Red was traumatized and had to grow up too fast. From a young age she was always surrounded by adults. She never really understood social dynamics. She always had to bury her emotions; she was neglected. She had to do whatever her mother told her.
Chloe, on the other hand, always had a choice and was always privileged. And when they rewrote the future, Chloe’s life barely changed, whereas for Red everything changed. She isn’t used to having a loving mother or a sister.
It’s true that Chloe’s ideas weren’t the best, and maybe Red should have reacted differently, but as I said, Red never learned how to react any other way. The only thing Red really did wrong was using Chloe. But again, before that Red was a villain’s kid who had never had real friends her own age. And because she was raised as a villain’s child, she was always taught to use other people to get what she wanted.
When they went into the rabbit’s house, Red tried to talk to Chloe once she saw she was angry, but Chloe ignored her. I find that very immature, because Red just wanted to help.
