I’ve primarily had “solo friends” throughout college and honestly I’m a little jealous of people with defined friend groups, all fun and games until it’s time to plan your birthday party and non of your friends know each other

you’re so right bc I didn’t mean to swear off friend groups at all, just happened to develop a bunch of solo friends, it has genuinely filled me with so much joy and each relationship is independently fulfilling- we legit KNOW each other rather than just ‘hanging out’ like I’ve experienced in friend groups in the past bc we experience a more intimate friendship

This is why I love working for an agency because I do so many different events, where I meet so many wonderful people, and I have the best night working with them, and then I never speak to them again! For most part, I never get their socials. Then, it’s just like we existed together at that moment of time. And if we get to see each other working another event, it’s the icing on top of the cake!

Be careful! A lot of neurodivergent people fall into this category as a one off friend. Please make sure you make them feel included and aren’t just using them for their advice!
