She’s totally fine if she’s happy. My 3 month old was born 8.4oz and only weighs 11.11oz and I’m not worried at all he’s longer but also he has plenty of wet and poop diapers he’s happy. Doctors dont always know what they are talking about

I had our 4th 3 months ago. She is also about the 4th percentile. I’m EBF. She’s the happiest baby. Sleep perfectly. I’m not stressing the weight gain. She will be eating food soon and will pack on weight. Please don’t stress it. You know her best!

I’ve been here. My baby was 4 pounds 4ozs when she was born. She wasn’t gaining weight fast enough she was in the 3rd percentile and they tried to tell me I needed to supplement with formula but I worked with a lactation consultant instead. We found a nipple that she liked. I pumped and bottle fed her during the day and breast fed at night. She is now 2 months old and weighs 8 pounds and is now in the 20th percentile. Honestly just keep pumping and feeding often. You’re doing great and your baby will gain weight. Sometimes it honestly just takes time

My 6 year old just now got in the 2nd percentile. She’s always been on her own curve the last 6 years. There is only so much you can do sometimes.

You’ve tried fortifying bottles too? That’s what I had to do for my boy bc he stopped gaining at the rate they wanted too

How tall is she because mine had this issue and she’s so tall. We used breastmilk mixed with formula and used sensitive which helped. You can also get a prescription for the formula that helps with reflux as well. You can also call hospitals to see if they have extra breastmilk in your area too.

first, you're doing amazing mama! dont blame yourself, baby is happy! have you considered adding extra fat and calories to your diet since babe is getting nutrition through your breast milk? my babe wasnt gaining enough so I actually gave her a bottle of one of my friends breastmilk a day and it helped her start gaining weight finally!
