According to reports, the deceased’s body was secretly placed in a pickup truck, while an empty coffin was loaded into the hearse. The hearse carrying the empty coffin was intercepted and seized on its way to Gomoa by individuals believed to be security personnel enforcing a court injunction concerning the body, under the impression that it contained the remains of the late Apostle. Meanwhile, the pickup truck carrying the actual body successfully made its way to Gomoa Mpota without attracting suspicion, allowing the body to be conveyed to its destination.
