I was told the exact same thing about my daughter. Had a funeral planned and a priest at the hospital. No nursery no baby stuff. She lived to 13 and passed away this past march. I have zero regrets. I’m such a better person I stopped the worrying at some point. Here if you need me. I can help you.

This is so eloquently spoken. Thank you for your words. My pregnancy with my son was very similar from 20 weeks on. He came out crying on his own, a miracle. He spent 70 days in the NICU and had 3 brain surgeries. Currently 6 months old today and still defying the odds. My heart goes out to you and your husband ❤️

When I was 24 weeks pregnant, I found out my daughter had a omphalocele. Doctors warned me not to get my hopes up. They told me she might not survive birth, her first year, or even the years ahead.
But God had a different plan. ❤️Today, she is almost 17, a high school junior, a cheerleader, and living life with a heart full of strength. She has a pacemaker, but she does everything she sets her mind to.
Never let anyone take away your hope. Sometimes the biggest miracles come from the smallest fighters. ✨

The uncertainty in being a parent to a medically complex child is something that is hard to understand if you’ve never been through it. Our daughter was born with severe brain and heart abnormalities and we had no idea if she’d make it to term. A week before my c-section I asked the MFM what the odds were she’d be born alive, and he said 50/50. Minutes before my c-section the nurse asked if wanted a video of her birth and we said no because we didn’t want to see what we thought was coming. She took some pictures anyways which I am beyond grateful for because our daughter is here and perfect. But like you said, the uncertainty doesn’t stop there and I’m

You keep popping up on my FYP, and I feel like it’s to encourage you. You are in the thick of the grief, sister!! I remember feeling like I was drowning in the unknowns, but step by step feel a little less heartbreak and more “will it be hard, yes, but I can do hard things” and who better to do it for then that miracle. You’re amazing- I can see your strength! Keep going, mama! I promise it gets easier ❤️attitude and perspective is everything and you are beaming the light!

You were chosen to be his Mother for a reason. You love him and support him and live one day at a time. I would worry if you were not concerned as a new Mom.

From one complex mom to another, anytime I struggle with the grief, I let myself feel it because that is so important. BUT I always, always, always remind myself that I would have given anything during my pregnancy to know that I have the life I do now. Perspective is everything 🩷 you’re doing amazing

All the stress and the unknown during the whole 9 months is worth is she is almost 9 and we live her so much she is beautiful and smart . I was 42 when I had her so happy I did have her even though was super old
