As a warehouse worker yeah it's painful as fuck seeing someone puts 3 numbers into excel and then have whole day for themselves for 4x of your salary while you work your ass off since 4am just because you have no connection to get into the office

I'll never understand it. As somebody that has done both in multiple facilities, both have their downfalls. The office job is usually far more mentally exhausting. The physical job is just physically exhausting

The issue is the office staff will look at you like they're the ones who worked in a 99 degree warehouse. When you ask them for anything. Back in my college days I handed my weeks time-sheet to the clerk so they can log in my hours. 60 hours (12 hr, 5 day). She sighed all hard. Like each key on her keyboard required a blood sacrifice. She in the ac with a jacket on..

the people in my office are always eating and slacking off ALWAYS. They make a couple phone calls, answer a few emails and DO NOTHING ALL DAY. Meanwhile we're sweating our nuts off walking 15k steps breaking our backs lifting heavy shit all day. The hate is very justified.

As a production worker, I agree! Not only do they treat you like a grunt worker, they also don’t want to do what they’re told do which is assist employees. Meanwhile we’re on the floor working our asses off for less money, while they get catered meals every day and huge bonuses off of our production!!

Everybody saying warehouse is just physically exhausting, but its mentally exhausting as well when your tired all the time, stressed and overly worked for little to nothing its frustrating and draining which causes you to be even more tired and miserable at a job.

I've worked in both and I can tell you it's because people in the office, mainly higher ups, that feel like the work is easy and should be done at the same pace all year round but they walk into the warehouse immediately unable to handle the conditions and go back inside. Imagine doing actual labor work in a warehouse that is hotter than it is outside. Especially in Texas heat. You get looked at like a slave or beneath the people in the office a lot.
