The Old Testament shows us that even if God revealed himself to every person on Earth right now, he still wouldn’t get everyone to follow him. The Israelites witnessed his miracles firsthand when leaving Egypt and still built the golden calf.

This is all based on faith alone. It is whether you believe Paul’s claim that 500 people witnessed this and or the gospels claims of Mary and the apostles witnessed the resurrected Jesus. When you break down the details and the different accounts you can see potential contradictions that could or could not be explained by individual perspectives. I do believe there was an incredible human we call Jesus that did in fact exist and he was also likely crucified, but the supernatural events that transpired afterwards gives issues. The bottom line is that it is most definitely a faith based belief. It is not something that can be proven true or false, so the conclusion will remain an individual decision. To argue someone is right or wrong is an endless debate

I dont understand why people put so much emphasis on having faith. The definition of faith is believing something without having physical proof. The only thing that your faith proves is that you would have been just as devoted to any other religion you were born into.
