Replying to @Emily Cooper The Earth is my God. (Not instead of God) but because I no longer experience God as separate from creation. I spent most of my life struggling with adhd, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and chronic dissociation. Everything began to change when I reconnected to nature and started experiencing the sacred in my body, in the Earth, in life itself. “The kingdom of heaven is within you.” God isn’t somewhere else. God is expressing as everything. Within you. Within the Earth. Within all of life. When you stop outsourcing the sacred and start relating to it directly your inner world shifts. Your behavior shifts. Your life shifts. Talk to the Earth. Listen. Nothing has reconnected me more deeply to spirit then my connection to nature. And my beliefs don’t have to be yours. As long as we are treating one another and this earth with love, kindness, and compassion then I’m in full celebration of how each being prays and connects to the divine.
