He even held some anti-semitic views in private as it was common at that point in time, there is a letter to Engles about Ferdinand Lasalle, a german laborist, insulting him with jewish-related pejorative terms

I could be wrong, mb if I am, but religion is different than ethnicity, Einstein was jewish cuz well, he was born in a jewish family or smth, but he wasnt jew, he believed in the Spinoza's God or smth
