Maybe u r starting him too early? I didn't catch the age but not pressuring and allow a child even at 4½ years old to wear pull ups is not an issue. I have seen it many times.

Using the toilet is the easy part to teach 😅 It’s teaching the kiddo to feel in their body what it feels like before they need to go. It’s teaching them to be able to make it there before it happens. It’s teaching them to stop playing and take the time to go.
